On a windy Sunday afternoon, I walked up to the second Ridges cemetery. This is the "forgotten" cemetery. Most people doesn't know it exists. But it does. It is in worse repair than the main cemetery on the Ridges grounds. I've visited this site a few times. The last was in the summer, but an overpowering odor kept me from venturing further.
The graves here are numbered well over 1000. There are in fact two cemeteries. One is smaller, containing slightly fancier two piece (cement and granite) markers. The other is larger, and crumbling. I've heard that some employees were buried on the grounds, however I will not speculate as to this being the actual staff cemetery.
